Crab with three pincers caught by fishermen

A mutant crab with three pincers has been fished up in a lobster pot off the coast of Northumberland.
Nicknamed Claude the crab was donated to the Blue Reef Aquarium where experts speculated on how it might have come to be. "'It is possible that somehow Claude's ability to regenerate lost limbs has got confused and, rather than replacing a missing set of claws, he's actually ended up growing an extra pair instead," said Blue Reef's Anna Etchells.
Whatever you do don't mention Claude the mutant crab's third claw. . . he can be a bit snappy. The sea monster, who has an extra set of pincers growing from beneath his shell, was hauled up in a fisherman's lobster pot off the coast of Northumberland.

Reminds me of the 3 eyed fish on the Simpsons.

And that's why I no longer eat seafood. With the current setup in Japan (radiation) an actual Godzilla climbing up out of the ocean (after seeing this) looks a lot more possible.

Crab can be quite good if you get proper ones. Some of my best memories are from a meal of crab. I'll try to explain: I live in a coastal town, my apartment is approximately half a minute by food from the sea. When I was a kid, me and dad would sometimes buy fresh seafood from my uncles shop (he was a fishmonger in his day) and since we were family and my father was a part-time fisherman who knows what to look for to ensure high quality we always got seafood of prime quality. Now, imagine it's a hot summer day, with a gentle breeze barely strong enough to rustle leaves, but enough to give some... [More]

Swiss Army Crab...that's cute Eldorado! I think this will be seen more and more in sea life. Radiation from Japan, oil and chemicals from the Gulf, etc. Our oceans aren't a place I would like to be hanging out in personally.
