Domino's plans pizza restaurant on the Moon

Domino's pizza has claimed it is planning to build a restaurant on the surface of the Moon.
The ambitious concept follows on from Pizza Hut's delivery of the first ever pizza in space to the astronauts at the International Space Station. Domino's estimates that the moon restaurant would cost £13.4 billion and require 15 launches to build.
Keen to make the most of local resources, Domino's said it will keep costs down by using mineral deposits on the moon to make the concrete, which is likely to cost around Y194 billion (£1. 5 billion).

I'll be the first handy man. However I charge $0.86 per mile for jobs over 75 miles from my office.

Publicity stunt. No doubt. They can't even make decent pizza how the hell would they get to the moon?

If they can put one on the moon then why can't they please put one in our very, very rural area? LOL... I know it would be cheaper to contruct and generate more revenue....

The pizzas would have to be pre-packaged somehow, otherwise when the chef throws the dough into the air it will remain there spinning. Although if it is deep dish, the toppings should remain in place. It is good to know there will be some food on the Moon though, after the long trip.

They should build a Toby Carvery on the Moon and next door to it they should build a traditional Olde English pub like the Olde Man and Scythe (est: 1251) in Bolton town centre. Then if any Brits go there in the future they can have a great British night out: you know, getting absolutely rat-faced in the pub until you are almost legless then crawling to the Toby Carvery to stuff yourself with as much meat as possible, then stumbling outside and vomiting profusely into the nearest crater. Then find yourself waking up back at base the next morning with no recollection of how you got home and wha... [More]

So, where is Domino's going to find pimpley faced teenagers who can't count change that will qualify for the astronaut program? You mean those kids who actually look like the pizzas they are serving?
