But Silvia Gonzalez from John Moores University in Liverpool said skeletal evidence pointed strongly to this unpalatable truth and hinted that recovered DNA would corroborate it.

A hornets nest alright, OR maybe a funding gimmick. The experts suggest Australia seperated as a land mass very early on in the 'Continental' movement of the Earth. This explains the unique types of life found in Australi eg: marsupials like platypus & kangaroos due to isolation & diversity. Now the only human inhabitants of Australia until its Western discovery are the Aborigines & I challenge anyone to show me any Aboriginal tribe with even a hint of long narrow heads !! And as I am finding myself repeating over & over again I say bring on the evidence, anyone can say anything, proving it is another thing altogether.
