Thanks for the enlightenment-I never really understood the concept of 'halloween', even as a child. My parents obviously encouraged us kids to go out in costume, and they gave out sweets-but I never really understood the point of it all. I haven't bothered with it for a long while now. I think the only pleasure I got from it was the parties that I attended with my friends; however, that was because it was a holiday, where I could spend it with my friends.

Isn't there some kind of association of Halloween with something satanic as well? Just stabbing in the dark here....
