anyway it sounds unbelievable I thought this story was a bit odd, too. ("GeneDupe"?) Then I remembered that tomorrow is April 1st. The linked article about real-gold fish also came out for April 1st, in 2000. And the name of the Doctor, Paolo Fril, is an anagram for April Fool. So, I'd say it's a joke.

If we can make a fish that lights up we can make a dragon. Its not easy but it can be done. you just take a ege cell and take out the DNA and put in the DNA you wont. You can put in defint parts of animels DNA.thats the hard part. Its like bilding a computer. But you use DNA instade of chips.

I can see "fake" all around this article, that's just impossible.

This sounds really incredible. I hope they perfect this technology so I can buy me a pet dragon! Uhh... and Harks, Dragon's never existed. Jut hope it does not eat you, if you ever get one. Also how come you are so positive that dragons never exsited? There are records of dragons in most cultures around the world, they believed they exsited. And yes this could be a April Fools story, but to actually think it up makes it possible to become a reality. We are doing DNA experiments all the time, our scientist are mapping DNA of Creatures all around the world, and all they have to do is splice a fe... [More]

I wonder if fire breathing is a possibility? Just what we all need a little fire breathing monster! Have one of these imagine the homeowners insurance cost!! If they can create these creatures then why couldnt they create super humans, stop genetic deformities or diseases. Wouldnt that be possible also? What do ya think?

I would think you house insurance would sky rocket when they found out you were keeping a dragon. Reminds me of Blade Runner. I could see it might be possible, but would it be wise.
