In my younger days I've been known to - on occasion, and after lengthy consumptions of alcohol - been talking to trees!! The communication tended to be more of a monologue than a dialogue - according to onlookers.

I suppose it depends on what kind of Wall it is. Would a Big, Beautiful one have superior acoustics?
