Uploader comment: Taken from a frontal view. The white streaks that look like little comets are rain drops. There is a distinct difference between those and the orbs present.

Since the "Sharpshooter" was actually moved to this spot by the photographer, Alexander Gardner, who staged the remains here for the photo, I doubt if the orbs are actually the "sharpshooter's. He died elsewhere.

I know that. Just used the words everybody knows it as. No telling how many men climbed over those rocks over the 3 days...not to mention the American Indians who had battles there before the CW.
