looks like thhers actually somthing on your lens like drops of moisture, and you probably had visible breath even if you couldnt see it flash will light it up

I agree... that's cigarette smoke for sure. I know this tunnel. It's located in Niagara Falls, Canada. The story is that if you walk into the tunnel alone and light a wooden match, it will be blown out and a girl's scream can be heard.

Perhaps, but I agree with the rest, smoke, moisture, dust. And your buddy needs to decide on shorts or pants. Those look like Capris or nickers.
