Uploader comment: This weird hexagonal orb appeared in this shot. Actually JobB - this proves that DSLR's (In this case a Canon EOS 300D) can be deceived into seeing orbs - this is a rain droplet caught in the flash.

haha cool. its the lens aperture that is making them that shape ..just read the pic comment. yeah dslrs can see them, but only if they are strong like rain or heavy dust. they dont get dust quite as well. looks like they are chewing a ghost though!

Its actually clay - the cubs showed remarkable behaviour by eating it (to self medicate) as soon as it was put in front of them. I think its out of focus as Mosi (on the right with a white forepaw) moved it at the moment the shutter was fired!

Now this doesn't show much except we now know what you think a water pentagonal orb looks like through a certain lens. I've caught absolutely round ones like look just like the common orb. EC
