Gorilla that walks like a man filmed at zoo

Image Credit: CC 2.5 Kabir Bakie A resident of Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent Ambam's peculiar tendancy to walk on two legs was shared by other members of his family including his father who would do the same thing. "We think he might use it to get a height advantage to look over the wall when keepers come to feed him and standing up can also help him in looking for food generally in his enclosure as it gives him a better vantage point," said Phil Ridges, the park's gorilla keeper.
