Matrixing and Pareidolia

Interesting photo, it seems just figured the image of a kitten

The stairs are very reflective, you can see this in the step above the "phantom cat." The trim is painted white thus reflecting off of the stair case creating pareidolia.

Looks like the stairs are lacquered and light is reflecting off of it and the uneven dark grain in the wood. You're over-thinking a simple reflection. I wanted it to be a kitty too..

I think it's just a shiny-floor reflection, but don't stop looking, maybe you'll find something clearer!

Ok..if you are still around...processed your pix..first with a color filter w/sharpening then in infrared w/sharpening..the infrared basically washing out your floor reflections and there IS something that looks like a cat there...hey listen...if you look for opinions on a photograph..if you really want a useful one ask a photographer! (I have been a professional photographer for 15 yrs and can do both digital and darkroom...there is an anomaly in your picture!) If u want copies of the processed pix lemme know! This is NOT an opinion..the anomaly is there when pix is processed....

PS Of course you could have put it in there...would have to have your negative or meta data to be positive!

It does look like a spirit of a cat. Awesome pic you should try and take more
