Pentagon disinformation has been fueling UFO conspiracies for decades

A congressionally ordered probe has revealed instances of Pentagon officials spreading disinformation about UFOs.
The 'X-Files' taught us that 'the truth is out there', yet it seems as though much of the allegedly classified information that has been leaked from facilities such as Area 51 over the years has been deliberate placed into the public domain in an effort to mask actual government black projects from the public behind stories of UFOs and alien cover-ups.

This was the remarkable finding of a recent congressionally ordered probe that has uncovered decades of deliberate lies and falsehoods being perpetuated by government officials.

In one instance, an Air Force colonel reportedly 'leaked' photographs of flying saucers at a bar near Area 51 in Nevada in the hope of perpetuating the idea that alien spaceships were being kept there.

It turned out that the photographs were deliberate fakes.

His real agenda was to cover up the fact that the US was working on top-secret stealth fighters at the base by framing any sightings of strange objects in the region as evidence of alien visitors.
According to a recent Wall Street Journal investigation, this type of thing has been going on for decades, with the Pentagon deliberately fanning the flames of UFO conspiracies.

One has to wonder just how far this type of thing has spread over the years.

Just how many of the whistleblowers, government insiders and stories of leaked UFO secrets have been the result of Pentagon officials deliberately propagating a false UFO/alien narrative ?

What better way to hide evidence of the development of advanced aircraft from the Soviet Union but to convince the world that every strange thing in the sky is an alien spaceship ?

It is quite possible that this rabbit hole delves far deeper than we could have ever imagined.

What if they aren't traveling from distant stars, what if it is some other type of "travel".   That is the big obfuscation in my opinion, we mujst fear invasion from beings from outer space, when what ever is going on may be totally different.  Coming from some where/when/dimension that we can't even perceive of yet.  And the program has always been to make sure we only think reality consists of the physical and we are just meat puppets.

You think everything is cut and dry, it isn't.   When I was stationed at Ft. Gordon a group of us (seemingly random) were herded into the day room where the furniture had been moved to accomodate two long lines of people with two "medics" at the back with those big shot giving devices.  Our sergeants were sent out of the buildling and a bunch of big burly MP sergeants took their place.   A person in a uniform with no insignia, no rank, no name tag (actually still with the folds from the package) directed everyone, I assume he was a civilian.   There were two lines, each of us told to get i... *sighs* I don't think anything. You made a statement and I am asking clarifying questions. That is my slant based on my experience and qualifications.  I'm not sure how long you served, but this seems to be what on the surface looks like a "readiness rodeo". Looks like there were discrepancies or omissions in immunization records and the unit was trying to "get to green". I've seen it dozens of times over the years. Hell, I had to organize one during the early stages of the pandemic as a First Sergeant.   Anyway, if you took (or clearly still take) exception to it why have you never followed... [More]

No, that wasn't it.   Tetanus shots are only give every 10 years and I had had one 12 weeks earlier.   They had no medical records, they had no list of  names.   They wrote our name down as we were assigned a line to stand in and both lines were not for any vaccine.   I don't even know if the two people giving the shots were actual medics.  The "rodeo" you describe is based on medical records and rounding up people who have avoided or for some reason missed a vaccination.   The other activity is when the whole company is on alert for deployment and everyone gets a vaccination based on w... Rat, I know the timelines for when shots are to be administered. As stated, I am also keenly aware of when rodeos are generally, usually, normally conducted. You seem adamant this wasn't a rodeo but at the time did you know what that was or what they were? How do you know there wasn't some fudge up with the local medical unit? How do you know that you and the troops assembled weren't compiled from an ad hoc list that the installation command was tracking?   I have been threatened as well. I was refusing an additional smallpox vaccine for my first deployment because I had received an update s... [More]

I did know what a "rodeo" was because we experienced that when the unit was put on deployment status and we all had to get a vaccination for overseas.   You seem to think no one knows as much as you do.   What I described actually happened and there were no sanctioned vaccines given.   It was an experiment.   It was not a "fudge up", the person giving orders was a civilian wearing a uniform with no identification and obviously freshly pulled from a PX package with the wrinkles still in tact.   None of the sergeants helping that person were from our unit.  They were all MPs.   Those kind... Oh Rat, I sincerely don't know who hurt you but please get over yourself. I have not once stated I know more than anyone. You decided to respond again here in the thread and not PM me so....yeah. Again, I am asking clarifying questions as I put on my investigator / IG hat. I am trained both through institutional training and many, many years of experience to dissect the layers of statements provided.  No matter how you or anyone else feels about it, words do have meaning. But to oblige your insistence and continuing here, We'll move further along on it. As and aside, no I don't focus only on ... [More]

Absolutely. Wasnt there a list somewhere or article where some of the cases were mentioned?
Comment icon #46 Posted by Trelane 10 months ago
Yes, there was. Unfortunately, I just don't have it bookmarked anymore. I thought years ago we were done discussing these fairy tales.

Well, you thought wrong. ? As long as there are people on Earth there will be credulous and ignorant believers eating lies and fantastic scify stories like candy. Some people need to believe.
