Uploader comment: captured in the hallway near room 217 where the murders took place at the Stanley Hotel located in Colorado. The movie "The Shining" was made based on a true story of what took place at this hotel.I think the closeup of this photo was accidentally posted in the cryptozoology gallery.

The movie "The Shining" was based on a novel by Stephen King... I am suprised that no one else commented on that one

Oushgirl, while The Shining was a novel, King was inspired by his stay in room 217 in the Stanley Hotel, which was indeed said to be haunted.
