It is a hunter with a camo suit on a stake out, he even has a cap on his head. Just the way he stands prove he's a human and very real.

It's a stump. Something may have moved, but there's no reason to assume that it was the stump.

yeah, Damian has it, it's an actual human being, NEXT to the tree, that set off the camera. there is a pretty boss spider web there, though.
