Hoping to take over from He Pingping who died this year Huang Kaiquan is on track to be crowned world's smallest man.
At a mere 76cm tall and weighing the same as an average three year old Kaiquan is only slightly taller than the previous holder of the world's smallest man title, at 40 years of age he lives in Sanjiang village and is known as "short brother".
A 40-year-old from a village in south west China is hoping to claim the title of world's shortest man. At just 76cm (just under two foot, six inches) Huang Kaiquan is only 1. 4cm higher than previous record holder He Pingping, who died in March aged 21.

This guy is obviously not a midget, he has got more "normal" proportions. One packet of cigarettes ready in hand and another one in each front pocket. I once saw a whole group of short Chinese people, it was at the place de l'etoile in Paris.
