Doctors attempting to diagnose a man with a severe cough discovered a pea plant growing inside one of his lungs.
His symptoms were suspected to be the result of lung cancer until one doctor found an actual plant growing in his lung, it is believed that he had eaten a pea at some point that had gone down the wrong way and started to sprout.
There was a problem sprouting in a local man's lung. Doctors originally thought the new growth was a tumor, but when they looked closer, they got a big surprise. “I was told I had a pea seed in my lung that had split and had sprouted,” said Ron Sveden.

Wow incredible story, it gives me an idea so if I inhaled a marajuana seed I could grow it in my lung lol, that would be a pretty good Claim to fame and a good party story wouldn't you agree?? Well if all else failed, you could smoke the marijuana.

This is opening the door to new research. God knows what else people can find out about the lung if it is capable of growing trees and plants inside of it.

Wouldn't the seed have been cooked if he was going to eat it? Then it would not germinate? The entire tale is strange. It must have started to develop roots if anything, the leaves would not last long without sunlight. (Peas soak up water and this forces the pea to push roots downward, split, ad push 2 leaves upwards, if you split a pea and have a look under a microscope, you should see 2 small leaves) I thought it was only Aliens that burst through your chest!!! I do not think it would have lasted long, not so sure about the person either thought. I would not have thought this possible. Amazi... [More]
