Secret door discovered at Machu Picchu

On subsequent visits, Thierry was able to locate and confirm the finding of a sealed door at the site. An electromagnetic survey conducted at that location later revealed the presence of several underground rooms, a staircase and deposits of gold and silver. It seemed that Thierry and his team had come across a long lost treasure trove.

Dubbed "Machu Picchu 2012", the project has been extended while permission is sought from the Peruvian authorities to open the sealed door and explore what's inside.
