As the day of Charles Darwin's 200th birthday arrives, the Vatican has made a startling admission that Darwin's theory of evolution should not have been dismissed and that it is actually compatible with the concept of creationism. The Vatican is also thought to be planning to play down the idea of intelligent design at a conference next month marking the 150th anniversary of Darwin's "On the Origin of Species".
The Vatican has admitted that Charles Darwin's theory of evolution should not have been dismissed and claimed it is compatible with the Christian view of Creation.
