The code even the CIA can't crack

The Kryptos sculpture, a secret message written in code on a large piece of copper that is displayed outside the CIA's headquarters still remains a mystery to cryptanalysts around the world.
The most celebrated inscription at the Central Intelligence Agency's headquarters in Langley, Virginia, used to be the biblical phrase chiseled into marble in the main lobby: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." But in recent years, another text has been the subject of intense scrutiny inside the Company and out: 865 characters of seeming gibberish, punched out of half-inch-thick copper in a courtyard."

I definitely dont want me alone to deciipher it but we all should participate since it would give some better ideas Thanks B??? Quick and dirty outline of cryptography (as it relates to the first 3 parts of the Kryptos): A cypher is a method for transforming one letter into another. Simple methods where every letter in the text is converted to a different letter in the code (like all 'A's are written as 'W') is DEAD easy to decrypt. The first 2 parts were Vigenere cyphers, this is basically a method that uses a keyword (1st part: KRYPTOSPALIMPSET, 2nd part: KRYPTOSABSCISSA) to map each letter ... [More]
