In the small village of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hercegovina the Virgin Mary has reportedly appeared every day.
The reports started in 1981 when six children said they'd seen an apparition of the Virgin Mary on a hillside, ever since then it has been seen regularly - one local man even claims to see her on a daily basis.
For almost 30 years, the Virgin Mary has been said to appear daily in Medjugorje - a small village in Bosnia-Hercegovina. Six children first reported the apparition in June 1981, and although the Vatican has not yet recognised the miracle, it has not discouraged the faithful. The village is the fastest-growing Catholic pilgrimage site in the world.

Now, lets pass the mass hysteria, the horse manure and the doctor visit for just a moment. What if they really see something? But is it Mary? I mean the Mary mother of JC was a tiny women with olive skin, like most Palestinian women, not tall fair skin black hair vision they had...... so is it subjective or is it something that would typical to Europe in which it couldn't possibly be Mary, but more likely Brigid, Diana or whatever name Celts and Slaves would give their own Goddesses.

this is not bull people, miracles are very common, its just the media that tells us that miracles are not true but they are. In fact, i read an article like a year ago where it said that theres atleast 1 miracle that happens throughout everyone's life

Sounds to me like he seriously needs to see a doctor every day lol... What a doctor has to do with this? As usually you exaggerate - all he needs is to be attended by a qualified nurse, and not once a day but 2-3 times a day

He probably believes he sees her. Personally, I think the mind is a lot stronger then we think. He is like a child with an imaginary friend. The child believes someone is there until someone tells them their friend is not real. Perhaps he is like a child who never grew up, assuming he is not mentally ill or the more likely guess of a man preying on the beliefs of people to make some money.

I'm more inclined to believe he is after the fame and cash, but it could be that he suffers from delusions I guess.

I doubt that he's seeing the Virgin Mary everyday. What he might be seeing, I don't know, but doubt it's Mary. As a catholic I am more incline to believe in Our Lady of Zeuiton, in which in the 1960s or around then, the Virgin Mary was seen walking around the dome of St.Mary's Coptic Church in Zeuiton,a suburb of Cairo. When the figure of a woman was first spotted, the police were alerted,as someone feared a woman had climbed onto the dome to commit suicide. To make ... [More]

i would say that he possibly has had the preconcieved notion of who he wanted to see from the start, so when the supernatural being appeared to him, it appeared as what he wanted it to be. perhaps god appears to us as we manifest him and he cares not for one mass image but rather he is different for everyone. who do you believe god is? maybe to one guy GOd is a man with a huge beard and white robes. to another guy, God is someone that cannot be approached and so an intermediary is needed. I am catholic and i can firmly say that we should not be believing Mary is any CO-remdeemer. I believe tha... [More]
