Heh, I'm glad to make someone smile. I could have put the nasty spin on it; Dear aliens, please join our religion, called Christianity. Christianity is basically a choice - If you choose our God, he will love you forever in a wonderful place called heaven. Currently I'm on a trip in Utah where the LDS church's main temple in Salt Lake City has an exhibit on the planet evolve around a hidden star called Kolob, home of Elohim the God (same god, different version of him) described in the Book of Mormon. I'm being polite about it, not say things in an "out of towner" way in the middle of a Mormon majority state, but a mainstream religious movement like the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints discussed the possibility of God they call "Elohim" lives on a planet revolve around that hidden star.

Seriously I tend to believe that there are "aliens" of light aka angels that in essence have no physical form. The lower aliens of physical matter or form would also have to have a living soul or consciousness.
