Hitler may have stayed with his half-brother in Liverpool for several months between 1912 and 1913.
In his new book "The Hitlers of Liverpool" Mike Unger details his findings that suggest a young Adolf Hitler travelled to England in order to avoid national service. Hitler was said to have enjoyed sightseeing and bribed his way in to the engine room of Tower Bridge so that he could see how it worked. The house he stayed in was later destroyed by German Luftwaffe bombers during World War II.
Adolf Hitler spent five months in Liverpool, wandering around the city and relaxing in the Poste House pub, pint in hand. He also enjoyed a sightseeing tour of London and was so fascinated by Tower Bridge that he bribed his way into the engine room so he could see the machinery at work.

Another little known fact is after the war Hitler secretly returned to England. Here's a video made with a concealed camera that proves it.

There's a novel by Beryl Bainbridge, Young Adolf, that explores just this idea. Intriguing to see that it may have been based on fact, although I didn't think that Adolf spoke a word of English; which may not have been too much of a handicap in Liverpool, I suppose.. Only joking! It is fact that Hitler has relatives living, alive and well, in Liverpool although they've changed their surname.

no, that was a Monty Python sketch. The line between fantasy and reality is really fading.

Well, liverpool is known as a staging point for invasions. Perhaps Hitler was merely foreshadowing the Beatles invasion of the US

the main proof being an old pair of boxers with "Adolph" simply written on the inside band.

It is fact that Hitler has relatives living, alive and well, in Liverpool although they've changed their surname. He also had a nephew, called William Patrick Hitler, i believe, who lived in the U.S.

He also had a nephew, called William Patrick Hitler, i believe, who lived in the U.S. William was born in Liverpool in 1911 and remained there until he returned to Germany in 1933 in an attempt to hang on to his uncle's coat tails. Uncle Adolf found him a job as a bank clerk, but he fled to the US in 1939 fearing some sort of 'agenda' from the Fuhrer and got stranded there by WWII. He was given special permission to join the US Navy as a Pharmacist's Mate. He died on July 14, 1987 in Patchogue, New York
