Blueprints of Scott's Discovery ship found

Image Credit: CC 2.0 Richard Rogerson The blueprints were found at Goole Shipyard which had planned to burn the prints along with over paperwork until draughtsman Harry Smith realised their importance. Scott's ship, the RRS Discovery, was originally constructed in Dundee. "We would certainly be interested in having them for the museum as we don't currently have any original plans from the building of Discovery in our collections," said Gill Poulter of the Dundee Heritage Trust.
