Harold Camping admits prediction error

The 90-year-old former Family Radio president has finally come out and acknowledged his mistake.
Camping made headlines last year when he predicted the world was going to end on May 21st, then again on October 21st. "We humbly acknowledge we were wrong about the timing," he said. "We tremble before God as we humbly ask Him for forgiveness for making that sinful statement." Camping however is still adamant that the end of the world, or "Rapture", will still happen.
At the time of the first prediction, Camping was the president of Family Radio, a non-profit radio network that, according to its website, acts "with the express purpose of sending the Christian Gospel into the world. "

Misleading headline. He does not admit about being wrong with his apocalypse scam, he simply says his timing is wrong. As if that wasn´t obvious. And the question that he never adresses is: Will you refund the money that all your gullible followers donated to you, Harold? That's a rhetorical question right?

Dude just give the money back! It's the right thing to do... He says hes a Christian... well then he knows that nobody knows the hour but the Father. So yeah imo he knew exactly what he was doing coning errbody out of their money! And if he studies the Bible so hardcore as he says he is then idk how he lives with himself. Everybody can be forgiven but he has to show it not just say it and by showing it would be GIVE BACK THE MONEY!!

To be fair, he didn't predict that the world would end on may 21st and then again on october 21st. What he did predict is that the rapture would occur on may 21st and the end of the world would be october 21st. It's still a load of crap but I have noticed many reporters getting it wrong.

Why are you all insisting he give money back? The folks that gave him money are just as deranged as he is. A fool and his money...

Why are you all insisting he give money back? The folks that gave him money are just as deranged as he is. A fool and his money... I'm not big on money at all.... but if he gave it back that would show that it had not been about him and his family's wealth and really his belief of serving GOD.

What did the bible say about "false prophets in sheep's clothing"! I think when he started out it was for the best of intentions but it went way out of control.

For some of those "prophets" I would love to take a wad of the money they essentially steal from people and whack them senseless.
