'Spaceman' turns up on Margate beach

Beachgoers were left perplexed this week after an astronaut was spotted strolling across the seafront.
Margate is a popular destination for holidaymakers, especially during the good weather, but for those who had been taking advantage of the sunshine this week there was a rather unusual surprise in store when someone clad in a spacesuit appeared and started walking along the beach on Sunday morning.

With puzzled glances onlookers reached for their cameras and mobile phones to photograph the peculiar spectacle.
The spaceman was observed walking along the concrete spit on Marine Terrace before making his way out to sea and back again across the sand. The mystery only deepened when he was later seen next to a large inflatable yellow ball that had appeared on the shoreline.

As it turns out the spectacle was actually part of an upcoming music video for low-fi pop band 'Elephant' that was being filmed on the beach that day by production company 'Loveday-Valentine'.

I reject their explanation of so-called "music video". There is no reason for an astronaut to be on the beach! It's a weak Photoshop job using a balloon! That's better. Gotta stay in professional commenting shape. Can't wait to see what the music video will be

After reading that report and a lot of others lately, It seems as though the press really likes that word "baffled"... My personal favourite is "baffled scientists".

If it wasn't photoshop and is actually real. Why didn't anyone go up to the astronaut and asked what he was doing?

If it wasn't photoshop and is actually real. Why didn't anyone go up to the astronaut and asked what he was doing? Why would they, I wouldn't ask. Not only that the beach looks pretty deserted to me. Another thread where my posts vanish... I had the same trouble in this thread http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=92583&st=0&p=1626496&hl=+invisibliltyentry1626496
