Felix Baumgartner's record breaking jump has been beaten in secret by Google executive Alan Eustace.
The 57-year-old climbed to a staggering height of 135,908ft in a helium balloon on Friday before jumping back to the Earth in a high-speed descent that reached speeds of 800 miles per hour.

The stunt, which took place over the famous UFO town of Roswell in New Mexico, saw Eustace rising high above the planet's surface in a two-and-a-half hour ascent to the edge of space.

Within just 90 seconds of jumping he had broken the sound barrier.

"It was amazing, it was beautiful," he said. "You could see the darkness of space and you could see the layers of atmosphere, which I had never seen before."
