The pop star will be joined by five other women as part of a groundbreaking flight into the final frontier.
We've seen some famous people fly into space in recent years including Star Trek legend William Shatner who described the experience back in 2021 as "life-changing".
Now according to reports, the next famous face to attempt the trip will be singer Katy Perry who will be soaring into space aboard Blue Origin's first ever all-female space flight.
It will in fact be the first time any space mission has had an all-female crew since Soviet Union cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova's solo mission all the way back in 1963.
Joining Perry on the trip will be Jeff Bezos's fiancee Lauren Sanchez, CBS presenter Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn.
The mission - dubbed NS-31 - will be the 11th manned launch of Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket with the program having so far sent 52 people into space.
It isn't clear exactly when the flight will launch but it is expected to be within the next 2-3 months.
The mission itself will likely last only around 11 minutes, with the crew getting only a brief time to observe the Earth from above and to experience weightlessness.
"If you had told me I'd be part of the first all-female crew in space, I would have believed you," said Perry.
