Researchers now believe that what we see above is the result of coyotes mating with a breed of hairless dog.

Its a mangy coyote, Monsterquest has proven that for one carcass... AS for the other....just plain scary...

i dont know what it is but it scares me..

Mutant hairless coyote.

Not a dog. The teeth are not canine.

vlad_the_1mp4l3r: mexico isn't the only spanish speaking country in the world, and chupas have been spotted in texas as well.
Comment icon #28 Posted by vlad_the_1mp4l3r on 15 July, 2008, 2:20
that's no chupacabra, well, it might be if it sucked sheep! that's a mangy old hound, probably a coyote since it was found in Mexico Chupacabras are only in Mexico, otherwise they wouldn't be called Chupacabras, and Thylacines live(d) only in Australia, and they have stripes, this one doesn't.
Comment icon #27 Posted by cassiebabe on 14 July, 2008, 5:02
that is a canine with mange a severe case of it porse thing
Comment icon #26 Posted by cvicarsaf on 26 June, 2008, 4:03
The pic with the fangs showing clearly displays an animal with a very wide braud snout where as the other pics show an animal with a slender narrow snout
Comment icon #25 Posted by barbs on 1 February, 2008, 23:46
manged fox

It does look like a Thylacine. But, The only possible way to get them here is importing them. Could someone have a secret reserve or Thylacines?
Comment icon #23 Posted by lunardaughter on 13 November, 2007, 0:43
. . .Likewise...Though I must say. Its got some nice fangs.
Comment icon #22 Posted by silenti on 14 April, 2007, 16:28
I'm still with the idea of a coyote/fox like animal with mange.
Comment icon #21 Posted by american chupacabra on 5 July, 2006, 0:32
*BEEP* wrong, Bloodymess. Thylacines are not proved to extict. They found evidence in Austrailia. They think they may still be around
Comment icon #20 Posted by bcmaster15 on 12 May, 2006, 4:41
*Sighs* Another blurry picture. Well it might be a fox, but who skinned it? It might have been born like that. Could be some sort of skinned dog. Don´t you hate it when you see blurry pics?
Comment icon #19 Posted by kenshinx on 9 May, 2006, 8:53
whatever it is..i dont think they have to kill it :( cant they just cacht it?
Comment icon #18 Posted by celephais70 on 3 May, 2006, 18:14
The word extinct is pretty meaningless. It really means that people have had no sightings of a creature for so long that they assume it to be dead. The Coelecanth anyone? The theory of a Thylacine might not be as outrageous as it seems. It's still a bloody sad picture though.
Comment icon #17 Posted by einstein2211 on 3 May, 2006, 7:03
It is not a Thylacine. Although i do sometimes hope that Thylacines are still alive, because they are interesting creatures, you can see the red collar around the animals neck in the top left picture.
Comment icon #16 Posted by daisy_vision on 26 April, 2006, 10:03
Ok wait. Chupacabra.. is a mythical animal who looks like a fox/dog who eats other animals? That's a pretty lame mythical animal considering there are foxes that eat other animals, too.
Comment icon #15 Posted by bloodymess on 13 April, 2006, 0:34
i'll agree with liknatheart, it looks like a bloody Thylacine. HOWEVER It brings up other questions: Thylacines are instinct(but only since the 50's) and lived only in tasmania... so perhaps i'll go with the manged fox idea.

It looks like a starving wallaby to me...... and its been known that people in the states have kept wallabies or small kangaroos as exotic pets. I believe that a small kangaroo was recently hit by a car in Wisconsin.... there was an article and pics of it.... I believe its on cryptomundo.

I like Gear's deductive reasoning That's probably the most absolute and sinceable statement I've ever heard. I no longer have to stay awake at night wonderning what the He@# was that thing. Now I know, It's a fox with severe mange. Well done! I know that my comment may sound a little tongue in cheek but I think it's quite funny that we're all speculating, wanting to believe it's something out of the ordinary and it is. It's a fox with severe mange.

The "dead" pix were taken in Lufkin, Tx. It was a very mange infested coyote.

Comment icon #10 Posted by legendcop13 on 15 December, 2005, 20:43

Comment icon #9 Posted by gear on 6 November, 2005, 20:46

Comment icon #8 Posted by ihatethelight_76 on 3 November, 2005, 9:12
