In the future, you might not even have to physically go to the bathroom when you need to use the facilities.
Developed by Chinese technology brand Yueban, the bizarre contraption - which has been named 'Xiaoban' or 'Little Companion' - is essentially a robotic self-driving toilet on wheels.
You can activate it either via voice command or simply by pressing a button.
Once enabled, it will literally navigate your house to reach your current location, providing a convenient option for relieving yourself without having to go anywhere near a bathroom.
While it might sound like the ultimate accessory for the terminally lazy, the device is actually intended for the elderly as well as people with reduced mobility or physical disabilities.
The robot works by using LiDAR and ultrasonic sensors to map out a home's layout.
It even provides bidet functionality so that the person using it doesn't have to clean themselves up.
Whether it will actually catch on, however, remains to be seen.
