Uploader comment: A picture taken of the burning Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, in 1995. After development, the image shows the ghostly image of a girl standing in the fire escape.

I would have to say that this one creeps me out, because of the history behind it! This building was burned down onwe time before this, when a little girl was playing with matches and threw one on the roof, and burnt the place and died in the fire. The building was reconstructed and then burnt down again just a few years later, when a news reporter snapped the photo he was going to do a story on the fire, the little girl appeared in the dorrway when the photo was developed! I think its real!

This is real and being that she destroyed the building once before by being careless with fire she is saddened that it happened again.She is the girl who burned it down first but not intentionaly.I think maybe this place should be destroyed to let her spirit rest.

I gotta say that I don't believe that anyone would put a child at peril while the building was burning, I have nothing smart mouth to say about this one.

Perhaps this was the spirit that inclined the young girl to play with those matches and burn it down. Perhaps this spirit was involved in the second burning as well. One would have to see an actual photo of the girl in question and compare features to decide if this is a ghostly image of the girl. I am disinclined to side with the Hollywood theories of "leeslaughtr".

This little girl originally burnt the building down in 1655, by being careless with a candle. So the story goes. I believe this is a real apparition, but not of a little girl, of an evil spirit.
