it is a little girl , very nice! But how authentic is this photo? Also why would your granpa take a picture of an old rotten house? When I zoomed in I was stunned at how clear you can see the girls face

ok for one it's not a house i was told it's a commercial building of some kind. He bought a piece of property way back in i believe the twenty's. There were several run down buildings on the property that he photogrphed. there were no houses, just this factory thing and some kind of store house that can be seen behind it to the left. I'm trying to figure out what makes people brick up windows???

It is certainly an interesting picture. Most faked pictures from the same time period were usually more blatant about the ghost. This is a very subtle one. As for the bricked up window, it's done sometimes if a building is divided into smaller offices, and the wall happens to be placed along the centerline of the window. Plus it could also have been done as a security thing to keep vandals, and squatters from getting in.

That's frickin' awesome. The building, not the girl. I adore decrepit old buildings for some reason. Does that make me creepy?

Awesome pic! Let us know if you find out any history on the girl or what may have happened to her.

Except for the little girl looking like she's posing for the picture, I think it's a great picture. I just don't know...do ghosts pose for pictures? Could it possibly be a double-exposure thingy? (I have no photography knowledge.)

SHE ISNT POSING, ghosts look at humans , and she is looking at the person taking the photo...
