it's probably just dust floating thro tha light
Comment icon #25 Posted by blake nicole on 11 May, 2009, 19:41
your position is changed in the second pic which would make a glare off any light and show dust

WHILE i will agree MOST orbs ARE dust particals and easy to reproduce I do believe some are real spirits. I started believing this on my last trip to charleston where I visited the oldest graveyard in that area on a ghost walk and I producted orbs in some of the graveyard pics. i will post them soon.

I agree and have always said, most of the time dust is evident in many 'orb' forms there is just one here. I have to say I agree, the person stated they asked if anyone was in the basement or there with them and this showed up, I think most people are truth speaker... REAL Energy Form of Manifesting Spirit. in my opinion.

Yep...it's a genuine orb. Dust particle, light reflection, photoshop, bug, lens smear....just like 99.9999% of all other orb pictures littering these "unexplained" sites....NO MORE ORBS!!! Please.

u can only really tell if an orb is real if u catch it with a video camera and can study its movements.

Noce, but taking two pictures that close to eachother could cause that

This is a real orb. I have pictures with dust and pictures with orbs. Once you have seen a genuine orb it is pretty easy to spot the real ones from the fake. This is a real orb.

What would you say if your freind got one picture back with an "orb" in it out of a bunch? That wouldn't meen stop taking pics, but try to get something better if you feel that's the spot to do it in.

I HATE ORBS! Orbs suck. Even websites that have been up for years are starting to not post orb photos. 1) They're boring as all get out. 2) They prove nothing.

Orbs = nothing.

Dust on the lens of your camera. Happens to me all the time. Give it a wipe.

Of course, there's lot of dust in the basement. How well do you always clean your basement? For once a year or once a month? I believe that orb you saw was a spack of dust.

Yelling: Is anybody in my basement? One orb for "Yes", two orbs for "No"...
Comment icon #12 Posted by resplence on 17 June, 2005, 7:30
Anyway, that's probably a good idea. I'm gonna carry a digital camera around and ask the rooms if it's ok to go in.

Its not Dust or Watter Droplets! If that were the case then there would be millions in the picture, not just one!
Comment icon #10 Posted by angel88 on 7 June, 2005, 4:23
its dust or water droplets in the air.

why do basements always hav to be haunted? I mean comon, do people only die downstairs or sumthin?
Comment icon #8 Posted by mdhgl70 on 27 May, 2005, 22:36
it all depends on what kind of camera you used. You have to look at all the aspects you can rule out. Just by looking at it however, it seems genuine. The fact that the orb has a clear edge to it is a sign of a true "orb" in my opinion. Read up on orbs at any ghost site and they'll be able to tell you. I also catch many orbs. Nice pic. My opinion: real

orbs are just magnified dust with these new digital cameras

Comment icon #4 Posted by fgcuchica on 17 April, 2005, 1:48
anyone can take a picture anywhere and get an orb....it happends when there is dust in the air..the flash bounces off of the dust and creates the image...it can also happen in the developing process.
Comment icon #3 Posted by shinya_terachi on 11 April, 2005, 12:56
I disagree, I think it's just the angle the picture was taken the second time. I really don't know if this is real or not...in a way, I doubt it.

I was always good at spot the difference, and the hoover on the before shot is different to the after shot...

coincidence....but that's just my humble opinion. :)
