Researchers in Vancouver have found that it is possible to influence the outcome of a coin toss and that contrary to popular belief the chance of heads or tails is not 50-50. The secret lies in the way that the coin is flipped.
Outcome of a coin toss depends on the technique used to flip it, say researchers. A study, led by researchers at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada has found that with practice, it is possible to correctly predict the outcome of the coin toss up to two-thirds of the time.

Wow this was just posted? I figured this out on my own when I was like 6 years old without the need of forcibly taken research grants.

Of course it's not 50/50. We only call it that because there are too many variables to accurately predict the real chances. And the variables change depending on how the coin is flipped, any wind or air that may influence the coin, and so on and so forth.

When it hits the ground, the expected outcome has a real chance of changing
