Weird Pic
Image is believed to be in the public domain.

Uploader comment: I collect antiques and antiquities and was taking various photos of my house in Vietnam to send back to friends at home in Scotland. When I first looked through the photos I had taken I saw the green 'splurge' on this photo and assumed I must have moved as I took the pic and blurred the image from the TV screen in the background. Some time later I looked at the photo again and I realised that the rest of the photo isn't blurred, so I wondered why only the light from the TV screen appeared blurred. I also noticed that what I initially thought was a reflection of the main light source on my shiny marble floor tiles wasn't actually a reflection at all (if it was a reflection it would appear upside down but the lower green light seems orientated in the same direction)...That was when I had a closer look at the photo on 'full screen' view and realised that my TV wasn't even on at the time I took the pic. I uploaded this pic onto my FB page some time ago and recently one of my friends added a comment 'That face is scary looking!'. I had no idea what she meant so I looked even closer at the pic and realised what she meant - The green light could appear like a green faced girl with black hair. To this day I have no idea what that light could be.

due to the fact that the whole picture in general is blurry its hard to make an accurate decision of what this is. it could be a microwave clock and it got blurred with camera shake.

As I mentioned in my uppload comment my initial thought was that it was caused by camera shake but whilst the pic isn't sharp, none of the rest of the pic is as blurred as the green splodge.

It doesn't take much for light to streak and blur in pictures. The whole image is blurry, not as exaggerated as the light but still pretty blurry. The light is exaggerated because it's the brightest thing in the room, and that's how cameras work, by letting light in.
