A Spanish Historian has claimed that Christopher Columbus was actually Scottish, and that his real name was Pedro Scotto.
The 15th century explorer who opened up the American continents to Europe was actually called Pedro Scotto - not Christopher Columbus - and his family originally hailed from Scotland, a Spanish historian has claimed. Alfonso Ensenat de Villalonga has disputed conventionally-accepted narratives on the explorer's origins - that he was the son of a weaver in Genoa, Italy, or that he was from Catalonia or Galicia in Spain."

nah you all got it completely wrong! Christopher Columbus came from Mars after the Martian City of Wakiki got bombed by an alien race. He was the sole survivor of the Martian species!

He was an Illuminati/Global Elite mythical drone ... an imaginary crazed froot loop to the Native Americans. I love the way he's portrayed throughout history; The 'discoverer' of the New World. Yet he's remains a 'mysterious' & controversial figure who discovered ' one, if not 'the greatest nation on earth' with much of his legacy unresolved. Which would also probably explain why every time i scope out pics of him(?) in books & the net, each one differs from the one before lol! jmo.

Much probably his family was jew and they escaped from Spain to Italy (Genova). That explain why he tryed to cover his past and why he knew so many jew in Spain. But that's just a hypothesis.....nobody knows exactly the truth.

But that's just a hypothesis.....nobody knows exactly the truth. You know, I've heard this one before. I really don't think he was scottish. I think that he could have been jewish and his family came to Italy is a more likely tale. The infamous Borgia family,( Ceasar,Lucia, and their father Pope Alexander) was from Spain and at some point came from Spain to settle in Italy. A cousin of theirs is St.Francis Borgia. As you say no one is... [More]

You forgot to mention that he was later known as the Martian Manhunter and join the Justice League along with Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Batman, Wonderwoman, and so forth.

Actually there were two men, living in the same period, named Christopher Columbus. The first was the illiterate son of a Genoa merchant. At about the age of 12 or 13 he signed aboard an Italian merchant vessal as a cabin boy, rising to no more than a "common seaman". He lived to about age 35 dying in Genoa, he may have married and had children, but there is no clear "paper trail" for him. The second man was born into the extremely wealthy and influential banking family of Colum in Catellonia. His first name was pronounced as Christoph, he was a Master Mariner; meaning he had to know how crew ... [More]

Alfonso Ensenat de Villalonga has disputed conventionally-accepted narratives on the explorer's origins - WOW!! This will sure be news to his descendents who still live in Spain!! :angry2: By the way, there never been a Scottish clan known as "Scotto". Maybe Senior Villalonga needs to hold off the Scotch Whiskey .
