alright as a novelty i guess. I always thought the painting was called the moaner Lisa, hence the reason she looked so glum.

Related topic... here are a series of (oil) portraits of women morphed one into the other chronologically, selected from 500 years of art history. I know some people think it's weird but I LOVE it. I posted it once before, I think http://www.milkandcookies.com/link/62379/detail/

I really like that, it's different - let's hope they bring the exhibition across to the UK! The Last Supper one was good, lotta people picked that up already.

LoL! I like the Last Supper and Egyptian Judgment scene they did. The animators did a great job, I'd love to go see those in person.

alright as a novelty i guess. I always thought the painting was called the moaner Lisa, hence the reason she looked so glum. It took da Vinci something like 20 years to complete the painting to his satisfaction. When curators x-ray it they see all sorts of experiments and false starts underneath the top layer of paint. Maybe she looked glum 'cause she was thinking, "my God, this damn commission is never going to be finished... why did we hire this guy?" Really cool link. IMHO experimenting with "great art" is good. It helps us to see it.
