Father shares home with 4,600 scorpions

I saw a family on TV that had venomous spiders all over the house because the father would extract the venom and sell it for medicines ( something of this nature ), it was very valuable.

When you get to 4,600 scorpions, it strikes me that they're letting him share their house, rather than the other way round!

eeeks, i understand they use the scorpions for profit ect... but thats like a rancher moving the stables or chicken coops into the house i live in the desert, its bad enough to have to shake my shoes out and snap my clothes looking for scorpions and spiders- i dont wanna be anywhere near that guys house -lol

Whats next? snakes? oh wait...

Oh no.......

Sells them to restaurants? People eat those things?

Apparently they taste like pork scratchings

I pity anyone who happens to break into that house unknowingly.

Ewwwwww......he's a bit out on his own there methinks But we all have our foibles Only time I ever came across a scorpion was when I lived in Greece (on Crete) and I was cleaning my flat and as I swept under the bed there was a scorpion. Jeez, it freaked me out, as I'd never seen one except on telly I lay on the bed for ages and watched it. Kind of working out whether I should put it outside, be kind etc. Then I just saw reason, and smacked it with my shoe Bleughhhhh.....bloody horrible things IMHO.
