The first ever space hotel is still on target to accept paying guests as early as 2012. The multi-billion dollar "Galactic Suite Space Resort" will charge $4.4 million for a three-night stay including a preceding eight week course.
A company behind plans to open the first hotel in space says it is on target to accept its first paying guests in 2012 despite critics questioning the investment and time frame for the multi-billion dollar project.

So, if you're a billionaire it would be like a normal person staying in a lavish hotel on the planet. Since a billion dollars is the new million I'm sure they will get one or two guests.

If I was billionaire, I would dish out the 4.4 million just for the experience.

It will take a day and a half to reach the pod — which Claramunt compared to a mountain retreat, with no staff to greet the traveler. No staff, could a rich person handle that and who is going to clean up after them?

so....how do you keep the chocolate on the pillow????????

crawl around your pod in Velcro suits... hmmm may get a tad bit irritating after a day or so. Lets me honest here for a minute.... With the financial state the world is in, who can afford to pay 4.4 mil except maybe the rich and famous (Although it would be an awesome experience)
