Denver to vote on alien cover-up commission

Residents of Denver will vote in August to decide whether to set up a commission to investigate an alien cover-up.
The proposed Denver Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission would be responsible for investigating claims that the government is deliberately covering up evidence of extraterrestrial life, alien abductions and even a cure for cancer.
Denver residents are set to vote in August on whether to allow a commission to investigate if the government has covered up the existence of aliens, but another group of Coloradans is attempting to put a stop to the probe, KDVR reported late Thursday.

MIB says the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission’s goal of posting its findings on Denver’s website would cost the city $23,000 a year Could it really cost that much?

What a waste of tax payer dollars. Even if it does pass, are they really going to get any answers? Probably not. If there really is a cover-up and they all the evidence in the world, the government will still simply deny it. And what if they say there was a cover-up, what then? Let's put this money into something more useful.

Fascinating what Denverites would do since they passed a law legalizing Mary Jane...

Another crash in Roswell!? And this time it wont be the easy to cover-up 2 seater.... It will be one of these... How about something like this, which is similar to what was reported in the JAL 1628 case and, when an Air Force KC-135 encountered possibly the same object two months later.

Great stuff. Press on, Peckman. More states need to do this (and buy ear plugs to ignore the naysayers on the sidelines).

I don't get this to be honest. The existence of alien life will be verified through one of two means, either by ET suddenly hovering over a major city somewhere or by through rigorous scientific exploration and analysis. Cheers, Badeskov

B, rigorously studying science guys and gals first need to be warmed up to the possibility that there even is an embargo or coverup. Otherwise they're not going to pursue the matter. That's the main goal of the initiative: to demand that steps be taken by the Government to look into this or fess up.
