or you dont understand the arguments i have gotten into over these topics. i understand both subjects a lot more than you do even if you have a phd in either or both of them. I highly doubt anyone with a PHD in anything argues with people on the internet. But let's face it, even if we are aproaching a warming period which causes things like bigger marmots, (by the way, eating more and hybernating less causing bigger animals is NOT evolution)I highly doubt man has much if anything to do with it.

Anyone seen the documentary, "The Future is Wild"?? http://speculativeevolution.wikia.com/wiki/The_Future_is_Wild The Shagrat is a marmot that is the size of a sheep. It feeds on the European Ice sheets and can survive in temperatures as low as -60. Shagrat The shagrat is a giant rodent that inhabits the northern European tundra. The shagrat is descended from marmots, which today inhabit harsh tundra-like regions in mountains. The shagrat stands 3 feet (0.91 m) tall and is built similarly to mammoths and musk-oxen. They most closely resemble the capybara of the present-day Amazon rainforest. I... [More]

I wonder how they taste? In a couple of decades they'll be the only natural meat around, unless you're into cannibalism that is... Your comment along with your screen name and avatar is really painting a bad picture about you LOL.

Did anyone else open this thread thinking that climate change is creating Super-marmite? 'Cause. I think that'd be pretty awesome. Also. Back on topic, these Marmots have no super powers, so if you opened this thread thinking laser-caped-super-strength-marmots have appeared. You're in for a major downer.

So climate change has created redneck Marmots - eat more, sleep less - during hunting season rednecks wake up at Oh My God O'clock in the fricking morning to go hunt for food/trophies. But when my brother saw this article, before I explained what it meant, he was thinking of jailhouse marmots who have worked out til they're super-buff, lol.

Everyone knows global warming is a conspiracy to raise taxes on cereal. I mean, come on guys. You can completely disregard this article. My extensive knowledge of 'General Mills' products allows me to declare such things false.

The global warming will increase humidity in tropical deserts. Also the higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere trigger plant growth. As predicted, due to the global warming the sea levels will rise.Global warming is affecting many parts of the world. Global warming makes the sea rise, and when the sea rises, the water covers many low land islands. This is a big problem for many of the plants, animals, and people on islands. The water covers the plants and causes some of them to die. When they die, the animals lose a source of food, along with their habitat. Although animals have a b... [More]
