Anthropologists have discovered a neanderthal cave sleeping chamber complete with hearth in Spain.
The neanderthals would have had warm and comfortable hearth-side beds that they would have renewed whenever they stayed there, it is also likely that they would have used them as seating areas during the day.
Anthropologists have unearthed the remains of an apparent Neanderthal cave sleeping chamber, complete with a hearth and nearby grass beds that might have once been covered with animal fur.

And aren't there any photos.. it would have been nice to see the layout of the cave. Perhaps Neanderthals were into Feng Shui..

Neat Some pics would have been nice. I was thinking more of the hearth, I think we all know what grass beds look like.

If you do a Google Image search for "Abric Romani" you can see some images of the excavations. Sadly for me, they link to Spanish sites so I can't read about what am looking at...lol. Here's the first image from the search results.... Source. http://romani.iua.urv.es/ca/node/364

That's not a bedroom, that's a royal chamber.. It looked different back in the day when it was all partitioned off and was decorated and furnished. A neanderthal bungalow. lol
