I consider myself very open-minded. However, the notion that a piece of the building block of life was a dead alien microbe is a bit laughable. Although this article is just a theory and there is very little fact, if at all. There are more credible theories out there that make more sense and even have some evidence to back up those claims. it is only a theory and has possible facts butthat's only a possiblity.... there also had to be other factors in this thoery as well... i agree with professor buzzkill and farandaway... but, it is fact that microbes such as bacteria have been known to survive explosions in space, radiation and the extreme heat and pressure of entering earth's atmosphere... there isalso the possibility of random mutation with the cells wilst they were in space due to the radiation, and if you think about the movie evolution there are some theories that seem plausable... i gues what i am saying is that life coul...
