Lou and Lynn Balducci found the image in the wood of an old rocking chair that they'd had for years.
"He showed it to me and to a few of our friends and everyone agreed that it was indeed an image of Jesus," says Lynn. Believing it to be a sign and a blessing from God the couple are looking to share it with others in the hope that it will bring them inspiration to live better lives.
An Orange County couple says they have found the image of Jesus in a wooden rocking chair that has been sitting in their backyard for years. Lynn Balducci tells KTLA her husband, Lou, discovered the image in the chair last week after they decided to throw away some old cushions.

Yeah I totally agree, and besides w... [More]

Images can be found anywhere. My shower wall of faux marble had an image of Hermes, wings on his ankles you know. Does that mean Hermes exists?

Christians go out and do great things in the world every day such as missionary work, feeding, clothing and helping the poor, etc...Going to disaster areas to give aid and assistance but how often do you hear about that? No, this stuff is what you hear about. A simple case of pareidolia and these people think it a sign or message. For some this may help them when they're Faith is in question even though it's just a natural occurrence. However for the public this is nothing more than an invitation to mocking and ridicule. As a Christian I see no reason why God would put and image into a rocking... [More]
