Loch Ness Monster sighting reported

The owners of a shop and cafe in the Highlands have reported seeing a strange creature in Loch Ness.
Observing it in the water from the store's decking the creature was described as having a long neck, too long to be a seal or other animal. "It went under the water and disappeared for probably 30 to 40 seconds and then came back up again," said Mrs Hargreaves.
It was while taking a break on the store’s front decking — looking out to the loch — when Mrs Hargreaves and kitchen worker Graham Baine spotted an unusual figure cutting a strange shape through the water. "We were standing looking out and saw something that looked bizarre," said Mrs Hargreaves.

Another "nessie" sighting it looks like a buoy or am I only one who sees this? That green floating object in the article pic is not what they're talking about.

And as I stated earlier, it's a tertiary tourist attraction, even there. The Castle and history are the primary attractions, and Whisky is secondary (clan and whisky trinkets far outweigh nessie trinkets in the stores there.) and what better way of getting some of those tourists that are visiting the castle to visit that tertiary tourist attraction. Hey were at the castle, we should check out this new Nessie sighting while were here.

Do you think there are many who really still believe in the Loch Ness monster? It seems that when the famous photo was admitted to being a fake, that interest died any people gave up the dream for the most part.

Loch Ness could be continously made up just to keep their income from tourists. im sure that finding a monster that size would be easy.

Oh, please. *Rolls eyes* What next? The attack of the pink fluffy kittens. Honestly, I'm all for having some belief in supernatural stuff, etc, but this really does exceed the word ridiculous. A few years back BBC went to Lock Ness, and using various equipment, like sonar, radar, etc, etc, found nothing of the sorts in that lake. (Just look that bit of into up on wiki about that) Sure, we all like to believe in things like this as a way of some sort of excitement, but Nessie...for realz! With me, it's seeing is believing. So, if I were to live around there, I'd only believe in the beast if it ... [More]

Much as I'd love to believe in the Loch Ness Monster (a friend and I were in fact discussing that very subject the other night over pizza!), and you can call me a cynic, but my first thought on reading the article was 'Hmmmm. Publicity'...
