Ghost sightings spook New Zealand students

"Whether or not the students have known the history and they have talked themselves into believing something - that could be a possibility ... but they are genuinely freaked out," said tour operator Andrew Smith.

Larnach Castle has also seen its fair share of strange activity with one tourist claiming to have been "bullied" by a ghost when he felt a mysterious force pushing him away from his wife. "We stayed where we were and it happened a second time," he said.
