'Portals' found in Earth's magnetic field

NASA plans to launch four spacecraft to investigate hidden portals in the magnetic field of the Earth.
The portals, or "x-points", were observed in the 1990s by NASA's Polar spacecraft and are thought to connect the magnetic field of the Earth with the magnetic field of the Sun, creating an uninterrupted path between the two atmospheres. The portals appear to be highly volatile, opening and closing several times a day while proving highly elusive and difficult to locate.
This recent discovery was actually not found by the use of new technology. To learn how to pinpoint the opening and closing of a portal, Scudder used the data from a space probe that orbited Earth over 10 years ago.

private funding is more effective than governmental funding. Less paperwork too SpaceX for example is entirely thanks to private funding. It's the future of space exploration and travel. And everything will probaly go even faster now. Space Exploration: 9 Private Sector Companies Ready to Take Off Yeah i didn't think it was that much, but more because fo the way the media made a huge deal over the cuts. like it was the end of NASA. lol

if anyone wants to volunteer to travel along this portal [very much doubt you could] then i would suggest an asbestos suit would be a good idea. gl

Yeah i didn't think it was that much, but more because fo the way the media made a huge deal over the cuts. like it was the end of NASA. lol Yeah i remember that. Maybe it was just because of the governments' fear that it would yet again be proved that private corporations are more effective than the government

NASA goes on with private funding. Maybe its time to let other agencies go on with only private funding too then. Maybe they will be more successful without the BS that comes from Govt officials.

It is NOT a "space portal" It's just one very weak magnetic field linking with another. It means absolutely nothing with regards to wormholes, time travel or anything other than very slight changes in the direction of the suns coronal discharge. The linking is so weak that a refrigerator magnet has trillions of times more linking to the door than this ridiculously common astronomical phenomenon. No wormhole, no time travel, no special weapons, no nothing. So what youre saying is theres chance....
