The 'Experiencers Speak' conference in Gorham featured talks from several well known abductees.
The event was set up by Audrey and Debbie Hewins who started their own abductee support group after having endured a lifetime of abduction experiences. The keynote speaker at the event was Travis Walton, a logger who believes that in 1974 he was abducted by extraterrestrials for a period of five days.
The niece of abductees Barney and Betty Hill, Kathy Marden, also spoke at the event. Marden has written a book about the famous case of her aunt and uncle's abduction in the 1960s, a case that remains to this day one of the most compelling abduction stories ever told.
UFO believers gathered at a conference in Maine to share their stories of close encounters and hear from speakers who said they've been abducted by extraterrestrials.
