The breathtaking spectacle saw three waterspouts appearing at the same time above a lake in China.
Captured on camera by tourists on Wednesday, these triple columnar vortices appeared around midday and lasted for approximately five minutes before dissipating.
In China, waterspouts are traditionally referred to as "dragon sucking water".
"The phenomenon suddenly occurred above the calm Qinghai Lake," one of the spectators told the local Xining Evening News. "I'm so happy to witness the stunning scenes with my own eyes."
