An amateur ghost hunter spotted the mysterious activity while visiting Farnsworth House in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Barnhill, who has been going on amateur ghost hunts with his wife for over three decades, had been visiting the iconic building when he noticed something moving about in the upstairs attic window.

The shadow, whatever it is, can be seen in the video several times.

Afterward, Barnhill spoke to the staff at the house and was told that there were no tours scheduled to go in the attic at the time the footage was taken and the room itself is rarely entered, even by staff, with the door being kept locked round the clock.
Of course it is possible that there was someone there at the time, but if not, what could it be ?

You can check out the footage for yourself below.

Why does the window move independantly from the rest of the video?

I would say they have a whole bunch of nothing going on there!

Insects, and why is that room's light on, it says no one goes up there and the room is locked

Are you trying to say the squirrel or bird or whatever it is turned the light on? Because the video doesn't show the light turning on or off. If that room is actually locked and not entered often, that light has probably been on for days. Who's going to notice a dim light left on in an abandoned attic, anyway? The non-pro ghost hunter, that's who.

Active Bed & Breakfast. A few of the reviews I read on Trip Advisor said they were allowed to see the cellar and attic. Actually the Inn offers ghost tours of the attic and cellar.

Already pointing camera at window and then is surprised and shocked?  It seems like you would see the phenomena, be shocked, then get out the camera and start recording.

A professional would make their living investigating hauntings presumably.

Yes it is a Bed and Breakfast and they do have tours of the cellar and the attic. I know some of the history to this place. The window in the video was used by Confederate sharpshooters to fire on Union troops. The white marks you see on the building are pockmarks from bullets. It's believe that a sharpshooter fired the bullet that killed Jennie Wade from that window. There's now a motel that's been built between the two buildings but if you could see through it you would have a straight sight from that window to the door of the Jennie Wade House where the bullet that hit her entered. I'm not ... [More]
