Eerie, ghostly face shows up in photograph of dark attic doorway

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) The image, which was posted onto a Facebook group by Belgian user Jente Andritsos, appears at a glance to be little more than a shot of an unremarkable doorway.

"A friend of mine caught this on camera in his attic..." they wrote. "What do you guys think ?"

Upon brightening up the image, it is possible to see what appears to be a human-like face in the upper left-hand corner of the doorway, seemingly just floating there without being attached to anything.

It wasn't long before the image began generating quite a lot of interest online."I'd be moving out that's what I think," one person wrote, while another added "Oh heck no. I'm out."

Exactly what the ghostly face actually is remains unclear - could it be some sort of object hanging up in the doorway, a deliberately fabricated hoax or something genuinely paranormal ?
